The Source

Overhaul of Red Hat's intranet

A new intranet with a new look.

Red Hat’s “older” intranet was dated and needed an upgrade – a conversation with IT began in late 2019 about swapping to a new intranet platform. After extensive design thinking sessions, we defined goals for the new platform, demoed vendors, and collectively, as a core team, chose the new intranet platform. Oh, and we dubbed this new intranet, “The Source”.

A major responsibility for me was the branding and design of The Source. I worked cross-functionally with our HR teams, Creative Editor, Comms Strategists, and IT partners to define what content should live on the homepage and presented Adobe XD mock-ups to stakeholders for feedback.

From there, once finalized and agreed up, I worked alongside an internal development team to build and launch the new homepage design for The Source.
